Contemporary architecture meets bespoke British tailoring

The challenge

TTSP was asked to transform a 2,100m² commercial office space in Savile Row, London. As the home of world-leading bespoke tailoring, design quality and fine materials, the bar was set high from the start. Our challenge: to revitalise the space on both a visual and practical level, paying homage to the area’s heritage to reconnect with this prestigious London location.

The approach

Working closely with the client, we created concept ideas each inspired by the refined art of tailoring, with a focus on fine materials and craftsmanship. To meet the challenge of bringing the outside in, we devised a new layout for the reception area that would improve the view both ways and create a more generous space for the occupants and visitors alike.

The result

5 Savile Row is a building that sits comfortably in the heartland of bespoke British tailoring, offering a relaxing sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the street outside. The existing limestone and bronze detailing, combined with contemporary concealed lighting, Danish upholstery and olive ash panels create a bright, welcoming space that synthesises a unique heritage and modern design.

The new environment, paired with new high-quality changing and showering facilities, delivers for tenants, their guests, and our client’s financial equation.
